Lots of time for travel and health issues, but not much time for photos, so I tried to remedy that today.
First section: Gifts
A beautiful gift from the next door neighbor.

Hand beaded choker in a rattlesnake pattern. Made to fit my tiny neck. I feel really honored and thankful for this gift.
Beautiful fiber from my mom.

The picture just can't pick up on the subtle beauty of the colors. A soft cloudy blue-grey with touches of green. 4 oz. of a very nice merino, hand-dyed by Etsy seller The Fiber Denn. I hope to be skillful enough to spin this up some day.
Project bag, gifted by mom. This was waiting for me when I got home from the hospital.

Tsubaki (Camilla) patterned box bag by Etsy seller Japanese Handmade Etc.
Next section: Yarn
This one is kind of a gift. It is more Zabet saying it was my colors and gifting it to me.

Knit Picks Wool of the Andes
Some seductively soft and sexy yarn I've been eying for at least a year.

di.ve' Autunno
And some sock yarn that was speaking to me from hundreds of miles away.

Tempted sock yarn in Thigh Highs colorway
And the last part: Knit Things
One, legwarmer, ah ah ah

Inspired by Hello Yarn's legwarmers, I knitted a fitted pair with some random stash yarn.
Now I just need to get two more skeins so I can knit the other one.
Hemp is for Washing!

Another one to be gifted to a Japanese friend in the future. Still need to weave in the ends.
More Utility!

nagitaka liked my armwarmers and fingerless gloves, so I'm knitting him his own pair. I wonder if anyone would be interested in a pattern.
Reinterpreted.

I was having a problem with the pattern I was using for this, so after I had a foot and some knitted, I ripped it all out and started over. Same number cast on, but doing a smooth right side and a different increase that doesn't leave holes. I'm much happier now.
More Warmth!

I cast on for these last night. Since Iowa is really cold, I'd like to have these done before I get back there. Reclaimed the black yarn from one of the failed elbow warmers for Paul and using up the last of my Kureyon stash, so I'll have a set of winter accessories that will match my coat.
