After my travels, I have a few photos...of yarn and things made from yarn. The only other photos I managed were some blurry cats and some typical "oh, it's a lake" shots. Didn't manage to take any of the lovely autumn leaves in Ontario, unfortunately.
I did knit a hat though.

Pattern: Sea Urchin Hat
Yarn: Malabrigo Lime Blue
I modded the pattern to work without a doubled up yarn and to fit my gauge.

The bumpy swirls are pretty cool.
I also went shopping in Toronto with
morgandria, and arrived at Romni Wool right as they were pricing some kits from Fleece Artist/Handmaiden.

I'm planning on this to be a nice and lightweight scarf for the fall. Now I just need a pattern, or a stitch pattern, that will work well with a bouclé yarn.

This lovely little kit is for a wavy scarf and uses cashmere and silk yarns.
And surprise surprise, neither of these have sheep wool. Maybe Morg's presence scared off all the sheep yarns. :D
