No idea what brand, but bought some bargain bin sock yarn at Romni in Toronto to play with for some small projects.

It takes me about 50g of sock yarn per sock, so one 100g ball or two 50g balls per pair with very little left over.

Yea, since I don't know much about the yarn, I'm using it to knit little bags and stuff. Some pretty colors are coming out of the darker colored ball in the little swatch I'm knitting up. :)
