alone above a raging sea
20 Sep 2006 04:33 pmTime for a knitting update!
Projects: Current
The back of my vest. Need to find the pattern to figure out how many inches to knit after I shape the armholes.

My toe-up sock has a heel! Made a small messup, but it doesn't bug me enough to rip out the heel and do over.

Projects: Planning
I've been planning on knitting a Clapotis for
kitchengrrl for about a year. I finally got yarn for it.

Now I'm trying to decide which would work best for the pattern.
All in this tropical colored yarn...

Or the tropical yarn mixed with the darker yarn...

Any opinions?
Yarn
lunassa sent me the last skeins of the handspun she did for me. Isn't it pretty?

Now, what does one do with 6.5 skeins of handspun? I initially thought a vest... and then a shawl... but neither of those are right, now. Any ideas?

I saw there were three skeins of Verdeazul in the 6-ply bulky merino from HandpaintedYarn.com and I snagged them. Now I need a project for them. This yarn is so deliciously soft.
