ooh baby, i'm a fool for you

A few things on my mind...

I picked up this book recently and it is wonderful. Full of information with nice patterns to illustrate and a humorous tone of voice make it a great read so far.

And this is a lovely gift, hand-dyed braid of merino by my talented friend, Robyn. Oh the colors are lovely.

And last night, I worked on organizing my stash and adding new yarns and fibers to it... and I seriously must stop acquiring more stuff for the time being until I've whittled it down. I don't have room to start expanding to more boxes! (Of course, this might just mean I "find a home" for my crap acrylic...)

I was looking at that book Sunday for myself! I met Clara at Rhinebeck and she seems as nice as can be, which really makes me happy to want to support her by buying the book. There are certain Knitting Celebrities that I just can't feel right anymore buying their stuff. *sniff*

The roving is giving me flashbacks, just so you know.

:D Well, at least I'll be spinning it and not you. :D And it isn't a pound of the stuff.

The book is really entertaining. I think I'd like to go more in depth in some ways (I've only read the chapter on the types of fibers at the moment) but it really has a lot packed in there.
