look down and see her ruined places
Over Thanksgiving, I had time to finish one knitting project, although I worked on at least four others as well.

Pattern: Hooray For Me Gloves by Marnie MacLean
Yarn: Schoeller + Stahl Fortissima Colori Disco Socka in 9052
I started these when it started getting cold in my computer work area. Since these pictures, I've ripped out the thumb and knit it up to the knuckle.
While I was visiting family, I visited my favorite LYS, ReBelle and bought some yarn and fiber. Most of the yarn was repeats of stuff already in my stash, so I'm going to just show the fiber.

4 oz. Blueberry batt by Hippy Art Chick.
While there, I fell in love with the Fricke Spinning Wheel and I really want one, but I keep thinking it is a completely frivolous purchase so I have to work that around in my head some.
While I was gone, a fiber order from Spunky Eclectic arrived and it is yummy.

4 oz. of Blue-Faced Leicester in the "Grand Opening" colorway.

4 oz. of Romney in "Midnight Run".

Seeing your spindle-work made me rethink my disdain for the time taken by spinning with a drop spindle. I may have to acquire some fiber soon.
