I've been cruising along on my Ribby Cardi.

Today I knit the zipper band, sewed together the side body seams and basted together the front.

But I am sad...

How close, yet so far. I was a dork and didn't purchase a third skein of yarn at the onset.

I now must wait until another skein arrives in the mail. Woe is me. At least I'll have enough for the collar.

I finally got the detail oriented part of the second sock for mom done. Now it is almost completely mindless.


Here it is on the foot, and you can see the spiral around the ribbing.


I have already been plotting which sock and yarn I want to start on next. It is so difficult to choose...

My friend, Nobuko, sent me an incredibly cute gift for my birthday.

That is a gorgeous cardigan. Can you link to the pattern, if it's available online? I need another project like I need a hole in the head, but I know the perfect colors and I love the raglan.

Why does one sleeve have stripe when the other doesn't?

Well, when I ran out of the green on the first sleeve, I thought "hey, some stripes would look cool on the second sleeve, and I can not buy more yarn"... but I was wrong. I still think the stripes look cool though. :D

happy to see you picked up friendly fire ^_^ it's so good, isn't it? he was really very good live as well. he did some new arrangements on the songs, including making spectacle a lot more dissonant (i love dissonance) and changing would i be the one to be a little bit more ... down. which i also dug a lot, as i already love that song.

I love it. It took a bit to grow on me, but his first album did as well. The songs get so easily caught in my head.

I haven't checked out the DVD that came with the CD yet. I saw a video of him and French artist, M, doing a remix of Parachute in French and now I'm curious about the DVD.

I'd love to see him live some time. :D
