omg! It's official glasses day! I just got mine today, too! Everything is so sharp now, heh... though, they're messing with my depth and perspective perception.

They say if I put them on first thing in the morning it helps the brain recalibrate

by 2006 standards, those are uncommonly large lenses. nice though.

oddly enough i'm wearing my glasses today, something i do once maybe every month at most. i should do it more, i guess. but i do it so infrequently it's like my eyes need to adjust, which takes a couple of days...

Thanks. :) I was looking for glasses that came with fitted clip-ons and all the other ones were too small to be functional as sunglasses also. There were some really cute plastic rim ones that I liked but they didn't come as sunglasses. *sigh*

I like those! I agree with ferris, the lenses are really large. The frames are really circumspect, but the lenses are so big they remind me of your dad's glasses.
I get wanting one pair that does both. I know it annoys Greg to be switching when we go out and having to keep track of the sunglasses, which usually end up staying in my car.
I'm sorry they're hurting you, though. Perhaps not a good sign.

if they are pinchy, i wouldn't be happy with them. they are a bit bigger than i'm used to seeing on your face. makes your features seem finer and a bit more fragile. not bad, but different.

The vest looks very nice. i like the in and out stripy-ness.

And i adore the bead garland your brother did. i think that's my favorite picture of the three. :)

I could probably snag you a bunch of beaded strings too if you wanted some. He keeps on stringing away until all the beads are gone. :D This bunch has a lot of animal shaped beads. :)

I am sure there are available beads if anyone wants them. Also, your new glasses don't really look that large in real life. The way you have your head tilted makes them look much larger. Wish mine would come in...
