Another entry in "What I Did This Weekend"....
Sock! Finally finished the unending horror of knitting the ribbing of my sock. I learned how to do a sewn bind-off, which was sweet. Then I got to cast on for the second. Toe pocket!
Also finished the ribbing for the neck and arm holes of my vest and washed and blocked again. No pictures yet.
Went to SnB Saturday night. Drove by once and it was closed but I'm glad I called and checked, as they opened later. Sarah made me try on a skirt, so I did the cat walk thing. I was amused. Visited ReBelle today with Mom and Gail, who is visiting. Bought the aforementioned skirt, which is really comfy and flannel.
Going to Maryland soon, and then San Francisco! Excited. :)

The synthetics help strengthen the wool so it doesn't wear out as quickly and the PBT adds a bit of stretch to the fiber... but yes, mostly wool.

This one is a formula, although you might need to do some additional adjustments for it to fit you comfortably. It is also, as noticeable in my pictures, a toe-up pattern. Knitty's Universal Sock
It recommends knitting on one size smaller needles than on the ball band, so I'm using US 0 needles.
