Thanks to a wonderful gift from my mother, my father and I attended the Suzanne Vega performance at the Kentucky this past Tuesday.
She's touring for her new album, Beauty & Crime, and it was really wonderful to see her again. I've seen her twice before, the first time probably about 9 years ago on the same stage. A delight to listen to and always interesting to hear some of the stories behind her songs.

And did she wink at you again? :)

The new album is ok. It is kind of like the previous album, she's working through her real life dramas (divorce, remarrage, death of her brother) and is about New York in many ways. I find myself humming some of the songs, so there are some good ones in there. It's not an overwhelming recommend though.
