I started at the end of July, but it was such a fun and easy knit that it seemed to take no time. I did have some other projects going at the same time and I did run out of yarn, but in the time line, it's been in progress for over a month. Now, all I need is for the zipper to arrive. :)
Aw, thanks! I ended up using Cascade 220 in Lichen (9338) and Dune (9460). I'll see how well it does with pilling during this winter, I guess. So far, it feels lovely. :D
It's a ribby cardi!!!! I loves it, looks great! I like the colors a LOT (you're shocked, I know). More pics to come? Make Paul take them while you work that cardi. And, you MUST bring the cardi when you visit in November so we can all fondle it. (You may have forgotten, but you really do like my bossiness. It's your favorite thing about me. Really. Really!! hehehehe)
It's finally getting cooler here. The past two days have been 75 degrees or less. How's it in Iowa? Fall yet?
I'm waiting on the zipper, but as soon as I get it installed, I'll be bothering Paul to take some good photos. :D And I'll definitely be bringing it along with me. It's already chilly enough here to want to wear it. It's been in the 60s this week. I've been warned that temperatures will shoot up again sometime in the fall, but right now the temperature drop is really nice.
