Been having a good time visiting folks in Kentucky...

I hung out with Zabet! She gave me some lovely yarn for a birthday present.

I'm thinking they'd make awesome Bellatrix socks.

I visited the Tuesday SnB group and Jane let me spin on her Lendrum wheel.

That shows the first bit, which is big and a bit under-spun. It got finer and in some spots over-spun after I got used to treadling with my feet. It was a lot of fun and FAST! I'm charged with trying out some other sorts of wheels (Ashford and Majacraft, although I think I want to try a Louet as well) before I acquire my own.

I have almost no knitting progress to speak of. I started the fourth (and final) skein for the baby blanket this weekend. I am almost finished with the first Beaded Rib sock. I just need to bind off the ribbing.

Try to get on a Kromski as well. My Mazurka was awesome, and perfect for a tall spinner who enjoys a single treadle. Also, reasonably affordable.

Um.... I might be doing some hanging out with Zabet Thursday night, but I haven't figured out plans yet. Friday night is open. Saturday is a wedding and Sunday we're heading out of here.
