I wonder what sort of patterns you'd get in a ball of yarn if you spun the Jacob sheep's wool without dyeing it. That would be fun to knit up!

They had a table to promote the Jacob sheep breed and the gentleman there had some cones of yarn from Jacobs there. He was saying they split out the black and the white usually and then the border sections where it is a mix get carded together and produce a grey. It was neat.

Jacob sheep are awesome...if I ever had my own flock, it would be of Jacobs and Navajo Churros. :)

Oh, I hadn't seen the churros before. Those look awesome!

I like the karakuls also. :) They have such goat-like faces.
