For those who enjoy Stephanie Pearl-McPhee's blog, she'll be coming back to Lexington this year on her new book tour for the Bluegrass Festival of Books. I'm hoping some of you who wanted to go last year might be able to make it this year.

From her tour page:
April 21st - Lexington KY, Blue Grass Festival of Books, Signing from 10-12 in the Bluegrass Ballroom, Speaking at 2:00pm in Thoroughbred Room 1.

I should cast on another pair of socks for this.

If she starts signing at 10, how early would you recommend getting there? *off to add the date to my Yahoo calendar*

I'd recommend getting there a bit before if you can. There will be a line. I'll ask around at the SnB tonight to see if anyone has some advice.

Sorry to get back to you about this somewhat late. From what my friends say, the Festival of Books opens doors at 9, so I think some of us will get there around then. Her line seemed to move well when I was there before, but if you want to show up before 10 and queue up, that'd work. I was part of the line forming in the afternoon last year and all of us were sitting around waiting and knitting (imagine that...).
