Thinking about using Christmas money to buy the pattern and yarn for a cardigan. Thoughts currently are of two patterns by ChicKnits.com.

Specified yarn and available colors		I like the modifications done by this knitter. This pattern also has many recommended yarns.
Any thoughts?

I like the ribby cardi better. The ribbing, sleeves, and general shape. It seems like it's more suited to your style and body shape, or, like
