I'm sure there will be a bunch of reminders of this today....

I still remember twenty years ago, sitting in my 5th grade class watching the twin trails on the TV set. The boys were drawing pictures of it for weeks later and I was disgusted with them. Maybe it was their way of dealing. I don't know.

Today, it still makes me incredibly sad. A lot of dreams died that day.

We were talking about that this morning. I don't remember the Challenger explosion (I was in kindergarten), but I do remember sitting in the cafeteria and watching subsequent shuttle launches. It was just the coolest thing to watch the shuttle take off. I kinda miss that.
