Oh yea!! I finally finished a book! Last night I finished off Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys and I really liked it. I got a lot of good images and feelings in my head with the characters and places. I have distinct feelings for the characters and I really enjoy that. It was a fun story and a good read. :) Much easier to pick up and read than American Gods (which is terribly good and recommended, I just find it a little hard to get into sometimes because of the tone).

Need to read more. I think I get bogged down with the folk lore books lately and get discouraged. Read half way through both The Arabian Nights, translated by Husain Haddawy and Celtic Myths and Legends, by Peter Berresford Ellis, even though I find them both fascinating. Hm.

I enjoyed Anansi Boys more than American Gods and I think the difference in tone bewteen the two stories is part of that.
